“TEACH ONLY LOVE ~
FOR THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE.”
Quest Yoga Studio is excited to announce that we will be offering a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program starting in September 2012 and completing in May 2013.
Our 9-Month program is ideal for dedicated yoga students and aspiring teachers that want to deepen their understanding of this powerful and transformational practice and share their love of yoga with others.
The focus and intention of this “Kripalu Inspired” Yoga Teacher Training is to help students develop the skills needed to safely and effectively guide yoga classes that inform, inspire and illuminate.
Although the aim of our YTT is to prepare yoga students to become yoga teachers, this program is also perfect for serious practitioners who want to explore the amazing depth and breadth of the yogic path, even if they do not wish to teach.
The training will be led by Karen Kenney, owner and principal teacher of Quest Yoga Studio. She has been a dedicated yoga student for over 15 years and a full time yoga teacher since 2001. Karen is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and also completed teacher trainings in Ashtanga Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Thai Yoga Therapy.
Karen’s approach to yoga is also deeply influenced by Marianne Williamson, best selling author of A Return to Love – which offers reflections on A Course in Miracles. Karen was blessed to live and work closely with Marianne, who became her spiritual “mother”, teacher and mentor. The lessons learned from her relationship with Marianne and the guidance that she still receives has opened a door to profound healing, compassion and forgiveness.
The Quest Yoga Teacher Training will also be supported by many fabulous and talented guest presenters. Here are some of the wonderful professionals that will be sharing their knowledge and skills with you!
